Sedum telephium ‘Autumn Fire’ (Stonecrop) is an improved form of Sedum ‘Autumn Joy’ that is larger growing, has larger flower heads and is longer blooming. The flat heads of rose-pink flowers appear in late summer. Leave the faded flowers on the plant for added winter interest.

Description

This is a larger growing, longer blooming version of the older variety ‘Autumn Joy’. This plant also holds its flowers much longer into the fall and winter providing an extended season of color and structure. Sturdy upright stems have blue-green foliage and come into color in late summer. The large flat-topped flowers go from light rose-pink to red to bronze-red over a period of several months. Autumn Fire is one our best low care, high color perennials. Cut back to green basal growth in spring. 24″ tall x 15-18″ wide. Good for Firescaping.
